On the next program I interview Dn Tom Braun, a financial seminar leader to Orthodox groups, and Scot Larsen, a savvy financial investor and planner, who worked his way out of crippling credit card debt and vowed "never" again! The topic is "Managing Mammon" and although we recorded the program before the "bail out" and the near financial meltdown of our financial insttitutions, I think this two-part program (October 11th and October 18th) is very timely! The program will address the key issue we Christians must deal with - what is the role of money in a world that is temporary? Do we have a responsibility as stewards and if so, what does that mean? Can we rely on God AND be savvy financial planners (at the same time)? Hopefully we'll provide some answers!
